There is no waiting period. You can start using MDLinkNow immediately after you sign up, activate your account and select and pay for the plan. Once you have an MDLinkNow active account, you can view available appointment times, and schedule an appointment with the doctor.

To visit with a primary care doctor on MDLinkNow, please follow these steps:

1. Log in to your MDLinkNow account
2. Click on the Talk to a Doctor option
3. Confirm your location and click Next
4. On the next screen you will verify your personal information. In case you need to change, correct or update any information, please click the Edit button at the right lower corner of this section to do so. After entering new/corrected information you MUST click Save to proceed to the next step.
5. On the next page briefly describe (maximum 400 characters) your reason for medical visit. Give as much information as possible on the clinical symptom checklist that follows. Your doctor will review it at the time of visit with you.
6. Select a virtual consult time from the available schedule
7. Select a mode of consult—video, audio only or text chat and click Next
8. Finally you must select your pharmacy for your doctor to send any prescription that may be ordered (Please read our prescription policy and limitations). Select the pharmacy by using it’s name, city or postal zip code. You must select the pharmacy, and click save in order to save this pharmacy in your profile.
9. Confirm consult by clicking Ready for Visit

MDLinkNow is designed to handle non-emergency medical issues. You should not use MDLinkNow if you are experiencing an emergency. In case of a life threatening emergency or if you are suicidal or have thoughts to hurt others, you should dial 911 immediately or call suicide hotline or go to your nearest emergency room. While MDLinkNow is not intended to replace your primary care doctor, a virtual doctor’s appointment can sometimes be a good alternate to a doctor’s office, urgent care, or an emergency room visit.

Your cost is extremely low compared to similar consults by other service providers. You are eligible to receive three virtual consults in each covered month with your subscription, which comes out to less than $30.00 per month (for all three consults). Similar virtual consult with other service providers may cost you from $49 to $69 per consult. Our unique business model and a commitment to provide access to anyone to a doctor for the treatment of most common medical conditions allows us to offer such exceptional service and quality. Each additional consult (above and beyond the three consults) during a covered month costs just $10.
